WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

As Breakfast Chef at EVE Kensington, your role will include:

  • Running the breakfast kitchen operation to a consistently high standard, from early morning prep through to service completion
  • Preparing and cooking a full breakfast menu covering hot dishes, egg cookery, pastries, cold items, and any à la carte or cooked-to-order requirements
  • Ensuring all mise en place is completed accurately and on time ahead of every service
  • Maintaining impeccable standards of food presentation, portion control, and quality consistency across every plate
  • Upholding strict food safety, hygiene, and allergen compliance in line with HACCP standards at all times
  • Managing stock levels during service, flagging replenishment needs, and minimising waste through accurate prep
  • Keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and guest-ready throughout the morning operation
  • Supporting the wider kitchen brigade where required and communicating clearly with front-of-house during service
  • Contributing to a positive, professional kitchen culture where reliability and high standards are the norm

WHAT DO YOU NEED?

  • Proven kitchen experience, ideally with exposure to breakfast or all-day dining operations
  • Strong egg cookery and breakfast technique, from classical cooked breakfasts to more contemporary à la carte dishes
  • The ability to work independently and manage a section with confidence during morning services
  • A thorough understanding of food hygiene, allergen management, and HACCP compliance
  • Reliable, punctual, and disciplined, breakfast demands a chef who is ready to go from the moment the shift starts
  • A calm, focused approach under pressure with the ability to maintain quality at pace
  • A team-first attitude and the ability to communicate clearly with kitchen and front-of-house colleagues
  • Right to Work in the United Kingdom
