White Rabbit Hospitality creates and operates bespoke Food & Beverage spaces within hotels. We're launching a brand new hotel destination in the heart of London's most dynamic district and we're looking for a passionate, hardworking Catering Assistant to join our cafe team from the very beginning.

What Will You Be Doing?

You'll be at the heart of our cafe kitchen, preparing fresh, delicious food that keeps our guests coming back day after day. From handcrafted sandwiches to vibrant, seasonal salads, what you make matters and we want someone who genuinely cares about getting it right.

• Prepare a fresh and varied range of sandwiches, wraps, and baguettes daily, ensuring every product is made to the highest standard of quality, consistency, and presentation.
• Create vibrant, seasonal salads and cold food items for the cafe counter, taking real pride in the visual appeal and freshness of every dish.
• Follow recipes and specifications precisely, maintaining consistency across every item prepared for the cafe.
• Ensure all food is labelled, stored, and displayed correctly in line with food safety and allergen requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen and prep area at all times, adhering to all food safety and COSHH guidelines.
• Monitor stock levels of ingredients and supplies, flagging requirements and helping to minimise waste.
• Support the wider cafe team during service periods, assisting with food counter management, replenishment, and presentation throughout the day.
• Bring energy, care, and genuine pride to every shift at a new opening, the food culture we create starts with the people we hire.

What Do You Need?

• Previous experience in a catering, kitchen, or food preparation environment.
• A genuine passion for food, quality ingredients, and taking pride in what you produce.
• Strong attention to detail, you understand that presentation, consistency, and freshness are everything in a great cafe.
• A hardworking, reliable, and positive attitude, you show up, you care, and you take pride in your work.
• Good awareness of food safety, hygiene standards, and allergen requirements.
• The ability to work efficiently and calmly during busy preparation and service periods.
• A flexible approach to working hours, including early mornings, weekends, and peak periods as required by the business.
