Bar Supervisor

Join White Rabbit Hospitality as Bar Supervisor – Be Part of Something Brand New in Canary Wharf

Something big is coming to Canary Wharf and we want you to help lead it.

White Rabbit Hospitality creates and operates bespoke Food & Beverage spaces within hotels. We're launching a brand new hotel destination in the heart of London's most dynamic district and we're looking for an ambitious, guest-obsessed Bar Supervisor to join us from the very beginning.

This isn't a role where you walk into someone else's bar. This is your opportunity to help build it from the ground up, shape the culture, develop the team, and play a leading role in creating a bar destination that Canary Wharf will be talking about.

At White Rabbit Hospitality, our values define everything we do: Hospitality is at our core, We do the right thing, We pursue excellence, and We are all entrepreneurs. If that sounds like your kind of bar, keep reading.

Our Values – In Every Pour, Every Shift

HOSPITALITY IS AT OUR CORE: Every drink we serve and every guest we welcome is a chance to create a memory that lasts long after last orders. WE DO THE RIGHT THING: We look out for each other, we lead with integrity, and we hold ourselves to the highest standards. WE PURSUE EXCELLENCE: We care about every detail — from a perfectly crafted cocktail to a team that feels genuinely proud of where they work. WE ARE ALL ENTREPRENEURS: We back our people to bring ideas, take ownership, and help shape something truly special.

What Will You Be Doing?

You'll be a driving force behind the bar operation, leading by example, inspiring the team, and helping to establish a bar that becomes a destination in its own right in one of London's most exciting neighbourhoods.

  • Supervise the day-to-day bar operation, leading the team through every service period and ensuring every guest receives an exceptional, personalised experience.
  • Lead by example behind the bar, crafting exceptional cocktails, delivering warm and confident hospitality, and setting the standard for the team around you.
  • Support the training, onboarding, and ongoing development of bar team members, building a team that takes genuine pride in their craft and their venue.
  • Maintain a thorough and up-to-date knowledge of the full drinks menu, cocktail list, wine offering, and spirits range to confidently guide and inspire guests.
  • Manage the bar efficiently during high-volume service periods, keeping standards high, the team motivated, and the energy right.
  • Support stock management, ordering, and waste control to ensure the bar operates efficiently and profitably.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and beautifully presented bar environment at all times, upholding the highest standards of hygiene and presentation.
  • Handle guest feedback with warmth and professionalism, always looking for ways to elevate the experience.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider F&B team to ensure seamless service across the hotel.
  • Bring infectious energy, ambition, and genuine passion to every shift — as a new opening, the bar culture we create starts with the people we hire.

What Do You Need?

  • Proven experience as a Bartender or Bar Supervisor within a quality hotel, bar, or hospitality environment.
  • A genuine passion for drinks, people, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and beverage service — you know your craft and you love sharing it.
  • Natural leadership qualities with the ability to inspire, support, and develop a bar team.
  • A warm, confident, and engaging personality, you create atmosphere wherever you go.
  • The ability to remain calm, focused, and positive during high-volume service periods.
  • Knowledge of responsible alcohol service and licensing requirements.
  • Experience with EPOS or till systems (desirable).
  • WSET or relevant beverage qualification (desirable but not essential, passion and drive matter most).

Aside from an OTE hourly rate of £16.30 per hour we provide:
